Woo-woo
"Readers are plentiful; thinkers are rare." – Harriet Martineau (1802-1876, UK)
What is “woo-woo”? Woo-woo is a term applied to languaged attempts at ontological perspectives with limited epistemologies tied to narratives outside the box of dichotomously constructed, and largely accepted, methodologies.
Woo-woo clearly arises from myth, poetics, past/present/future art forms. Woo-woo is a heart, rather than head, centered storehouse of wisdom. That doesn't mean one cannot add, subtract, divide, categorize or do optimal science. It raises, simply, a question to be carried at the forefront of our search: Who are you and to what end do you search? J
