Yesterday was the the anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's birth, 570years ago , in Tuscany (1452); Friday was also 157the anniversary of the death of President Abraham Lincoln, shot by an assassin in 1865; and it was the 128th anniversary of the birth of Bessie Smith in Chattanooga, Tennessee (1894).
