Today is the 76th anniversary of the birth of Jann Wenner in 1946. Twenty-one years later, in November of 1967, he and music critic Ralph Gleason published the first issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. The mag celebrated rock'n'roll and championed Hunter Thompson's “Gonzo Journalism.”
