It's Satyr's day …

On this day in 1918, the Allied powers and Germany signed an armistice document ending World War I.

Today marks the birth dates of two major writers. The Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky, was born 202 years ago on this day in 1821 Moscow. And, Kurt Vonnegut was born in 1922 Indianapolis, Indiana.

The original party animals, Satyrs, entertained Dionysus in the pre-stone-age forests.
