Mystery of the beginner's mind

In the mailbox this near Summer Sunday morning...

Ought we to constantly remind ourselves that we don't know. This stance, the “beginner's mind” or, in Buddhism, the “don't know mind,” is always an embrace of “the great mystery.” Reality is always unfolding from potential into possibility beyond knowing. Mystery is not that which is not understandable. Mystery is that which is endlessly understandable as mystery.

Speaking of mysteries: Overnight tonight: a Full Blood-Moon is forecast. Once long ago this was a profound and even fearful conundrum to observing ancients.
