Mistaking stopping as a mistake

It's Tew's day . . . the day after Christmas

… which makes it Boxing Day in the UK.

It is the first day of the Kwanzaa holidays.

In 1963, the Beatles fueled Beatle-mania in the U.S.with the release of the song I wanna hold your hand in record stores and on the airwaves;.

And, in 1973 The Exorcist made its premier in American movie theatres.

The last retrograde of the year continues to Jan. 1, 2024. To help with some of the shifting going on under the Mercurial umbrella: Sometimes it's important to stop what you are doing . . .

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Robert Frost
