There is nothing “it” is not.

Every thought, every word said, every action taken participates in the sentience of the Universe. In spite of our callous indifference, we are interconnected. Mushrooms, trees, bees, bears (Oh, my!), all colors, faiths, fears, joy, even that indifferent forgetfulness. We are “thou” not “it.” All violence is a fear-based attempt to sever connection, to treat an “other” as an “it.” In terms of the personal, I-Thou relationship is not simply an attitude of love —although it is that—but also a conscious recognition of connection. https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/buber/ Our choices matter, even on what seems like a small scale. They have resonance in the universe.
Speaking of connective resonance:
Today is the 166th anniversary of the birth of Sigmund Freud in Freiburg (Czech Republic), in 1856. And Orson Welles was born 107 years ago today in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
