The Way cannot be told. We can – as Joseph Campbell summarized – “follow your bliss” or resist it. The former brings unimagined reward, the latter to the insanities with which we are most familiar.

One implication for those who are concerned that Trump will cancel elections in 2026 is to understand he can’t afford to do so. It would force him to shed the appearance of legitimacy that he’s gone to so much trouble to maintain. He will undoubtedly try to influence the outcome of those elections, but elections are held by the states, not by the centralized federal government. Start now by avoiding the rush and making sure you have identification that proves who you are and your American citizenship—even if your state doesn’t require this now.
