Notes re: David Bohm's Quantum Unfolding #1

From the mailbox ... The next several blog entries will be carrying the same title, save for enumeration, the reason for which may become apparent with the entries themselves.

The mind/matter divide isn't a divide except to the extent that language and symbols systems dictate. By definition, wholeness does not yield to fragmentation. Science in 2022 (with some exceptions) remains largely materialistic/reductionistic and committed to fragmented analogy which is very powerful in its manifestation.

Science is another means of expression of deeper realities, albeit limited in the same way that a minor key is not a major one. Red is not blue. “Hands like clouds” isn't “Part the wild horse's mane.” The “field” (Rumi) is constantly folding and unfolding, refolding and renewing what we call “reality” or what in Zen is termed “suchness.” The implicate awaits explication.

There is an information potential within the field that allows the universe to unfold. Interconnected communication is beyond theory.
