Alice, among others, still wonders…

Reminders in today's mailbox...

This is Christa McAuliffe Day. On January 28, 1986, at 11:38 a.m., a NASA shuttle took off, only to explode 73 seconds later. McAuliffe, along with her fellow passengers, perished.

Today is also the 149th anniversary of Collette's birth (1873 in in the village of Saint-Sauveur-en-Puisaye in the department of Yonne, Burgundy, France).

And, if you joined me in missing these landmarks: Yesterday was the 266th anniversary of the birth of Mozart ( 1756, in Salzburg, Austria). And, in Chesire, England, Lewis Carroll was born in1832, 190 years ago yesterday.
