Lost and Found
That tenacious sense of lost that makes its random background presence in my day disappears when the poetry begins to flow from my pen. Writing, typing, editing takes place in a space many might describe as an experience of being “lost.” For me, I find myself “found” when Calliope graces me with one of her visits. She has an open invitation, offered without conditions nor expectations. Her visitations feel quite like discovery.
