Ride the Waves

Sending to your mailbox this, a Thor's Day...

Don't confuse the Watercourse with the flotsam and jetsam of a culture that thinks it knows what it's doing.

Things are never the way we think they should be. The flotsam and jetsam are the “bling” reflecting off the surface. Focusing, holding on to those thoughts, keeps us from feeling the flow already moving through us – literally – in our body.

To really access the experience of the Waterway we have to let go of all that stuff, let it just move past us and attend to the deep peace of a wholly undisturbed silent encapsulating limitlessness – no matter how turbulent or roiled things may appear on the surface. This is presence, just as it is, unfolding.

You can do this: be the ocean for less than a minute and you'll ride a wave the rest of your day.
