What matters...
In the mailbox this New Year’s Eve…
Between you, me and creation there is no “between.” – Meister Eckhart
These posts are not placed here with any claim to right, wrong, good, bad. They are, rather and hopefully, contemplative – opportunities to pause and reflect from within the “eddies of the Watercourse Way.” That is also why there is so much metaphor here (in case you were wondering about my seeming lack of direct clarity).
Further: We, you and I, are not alone here. If you are reading any of these entries at any time, know that there are others similarly engaged. Interconnected-ness is a real thing, even in the moment of my writing. There is one over-riding assertion to be found here: Nothing stands alone.
May our new year be filled with the recognition of our unity.
Your words matter. Your phone calls matter. Your emails matter. Your genuine smile matters. The way you hold space for another matters. With the smallest of gestures, we lift each other up. – Tammy Simon (Sounds True)
