One of the hardest things to remember: We’ve never before experienced this moment.

Yesterday marked the 53rd anniversary of the first moon landing in 1969. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first men to set foot on the moon. Michael Collins remained in the Apollo 11 lunar module by choice. He retired after the mission.
