Today is the 68th birthday of Bruce Springsteen in 1949, Freehold, New Jersey. “The Boss” and the E-Street Band has cancelled the present tour until this time next year (projected) while Mr. Springsteen is being treated for a serious ulcer disease.

Its the birth date of John Coltrane. The jazz musician was born in 1926 Hamlet, North Carolina.

And, It's also the birth date of Ray Charles. The “Father of Soul” was born in 1930 Albany, Georgia.
