Sacred Energy

In the mailbox this windy, cool and cloudy Tuesday morning in Okieland…

If energy is unceasing—and quantum physics is indicating that is the case-- there’s no need to sort out anything. In this case, it is energy which need not be sought but energy with which to be. We were and continue to be made by and of that energy. – after Chögyam Trungpa

The mustard greens I am planting are me. I plant with all my heart and mind. I clean this teapot with the kind of attention I would have were I giving the baby Buddha or Jesus a bath. Nothing should be treated more carefully than anything else. In mindfulness, compassion, irritation, mustard green plant, teapot and the tangerine I am eating is me. All are sacred. – Thich Nhat Hanh
